The strength and the safety,

OVERTURN
I've become more used to the fact
That there's no way out of this....
...yet, somehow,,,
...it keeps me inspired.
You know I'm not lying,
but I know you have,
out of reasons of ruin,
your own desires.
But you can't live direct
if you feel the need
to play some game
on the resulting edge of a blade you face...
....that wasn't your idea or wish in the first place,
no.
Just because of what was said
by some nearby clan and crowd
a deep trust where you were lead
by the words of some local family mound.
That's just their pulverised lives,
where one day they'll see you again,
and admit when it's all too late,
that they were never really proud.

I can't read the names
of those who gave
their lives in any great war.
It's only ever said once,
but they don't live on
forevermore, at all.
The air and the hale
has faded everyone
of the whole list
to an unseen shale.
They'd have wanted their own souls to last,
NOT the titles someone gave...
...No-one's ever tried to engrave them again.

Sometime ago, I kept being awarded
by others' dreams of seeing forward,
but they were stories of nothing
that were in the way,
everyday.
I remember their last wave
and their distance drained into the land and rain,
I don't want to turn away from that
and see others play life's game.

to do everything for yourself,

RISE AND SUFFER
There are visions that come
within the first hour of wake,
but I stay in rest, because,
I'm weighed down by the crisis of the day.
The only real soul,
that breathes once revived so soon,
then has to try and avoid the hands that control
in a town that doesn't want to know the truth,
no.
A remembrance in riot,
that keeps taking place,
and I'm still waiting for them
to make their way up along Heaven's lane.
All the prayers and desires
they didn't happen again,
after which, I rested,
for there's no deceit in the sound of the assailing rain.
If I was a bird flying high within the clouds,
I'd see the world attacks and the towers going down ....
....and think nothing..
....I'm here, in a different place and it's laws,
with only dreams of miracles to return to the day before.

I see the rest of the world everyday,
if I try,
to break the whole past of being
all severed by life
and aiming to try and find the cause,
it's only once in a while
where it doesn't seem to matter
anymore.
I look for the best in the world everyday,
if I can,
before I feel it's no use, now,
and I'm lowered into the land,
and any plans of revenge,
doesn't matter what chance is there now
or how well it can be followed on,
it'd still be my soul that's gone.

I felt I was missing things
but when they were eventually offered ...
... it turns out I wasn't.

USED IN YEARS
Still travel around,
another summer gets counted exactly,
and shows everything like it did back then.
Everything's created from the same discoveries
that weren't celebrated at first,
because everyone waited too long for the ones
who didn't bother to show it's worth.

It's just something else that can't be seen
when you see the entire world.
The sands everyone's friends ran on
my eternity finds they're all still here,
the marram where the people sat
to be inspired and entertained
haven't been used in years.
It continues to be too long ago,
and now, there are different strengths being shown
by others who weren't part at the time or anytime
with any plan to be here.
